Bachillerato Anáhuac

As a response to changes in the world and in our society, and with the hope that our students be increasingly better prepared to enter university, in the schools of the Semper Altius Network we implement the Bachillerato Anáhuac Program, that strives for excellence in the different facets of the person: spiritual, human, intellectual and pastoral, the latter as culmination of our educational program.

Our objectives are:

  • To form people of good, with a positive sense of themselves in order to act with initiative and consistency between what they are, what they believe and what they do
  • Provide the necessary tools to develop all the intellectual capabilities of our students; a solid academic formation and the posibility of interacting with other cultures, as well as the optimal command of languages and technology
  • Boost interest in sports as a means to shape their character
  • Enhance in our students the leadership to face the world successfully

In all of its areas, the Bachillerato Anáhuac Program adopts an approach towards learning by competencies through Formative Projects, in which, under the guidance of the professor, students put into practice what they have learned in order to create a proposal for a resolution to a real-life problem, showing the resemblance between the university practices and the professional practices.

The Bachillerato Anáhuac Program has a high level in technology. It fosters creativity and innovation in students through the proper management of state-of-the-art software in the market: databases, digital image editing, animation, web design and editorial design, among others. In addition, it incorporates the curriculum map of robotics to achieve the development of several skills.

It also provides the opportunity for students to obtain two international certifications that demonstrate, on one hand, their level of dominance of the English language, and on the other hand, their knowledge, in that language, around an area of occupational specialization.

With the Advanced Placement Program (AP), by The College Board, a student can choose between studying a subject at the standard level or taking up the challenge of studying it at a level very similar to university. This provides students with benefits such as the right to obtain a greater specialization in the area in which they have a greater ability, facilitate their entry to universities abroad and excel in the international admission process.

The excellent academic level of the Bachillerato Anáhuac Program is demonstrated by the acceptance, at first attempt, of 95% of students who apply to enter an international university.
